WE TELL A STORY OF 8,000,000 YEARS
The Granada Geopark project is an initiative created to protect and inform about the geological characteristics of the territory of a valley north of Granada that boasts the most complete register of continental sediments of the Quaternary era on the planet.
For its exceptional geological, landscape and cultural richness, 47 municipalities of the territory of the Hoya de Guadix and Baza were selected, a depression that began to form during the process that gave rise to the Alpine system.

It has prepared routes specially designed to offer impressive landscapes and to disseminate information, with constantly updated content, on the landscape, cultural and geological aspects of the entire Hoya de Guadix-Baza.
With our excursions we do not offer you boring information full of data and numbers, but we will help you understand, observe and recognize fossils, minerals, deserts, traces of ancient earthquakes unique in the world, ancient necropolises, archaeological and paleontological sites and landscapes that will surprise you!

EXCURSIONS, WALKS, MUSEUMS AND 4X4 INTERPRETATION CENTRES
We design personalized routes and, before proposing them, we carefully test them either by mountain bike, on foot or in 4×4.
If you want a mountain bike experience or prefer to walk in total autonomy, we offer you the logistics and assistance you need by accompanying you to the starting point and picking you up at the end. We will also provide you with a GPS with the chosen route.
In all the routes our goal is to offer you a magical experience knowing fossils, minerals and archaeological sites.
In some we offer to accompany you to visit museums, archaeological sites or interpretation centers or cultural facilities specialized in revealing the meaning and history of the heritage they represent.
